Our Philosophy

Flying Kite is an Indian Traditional Virtue
The history of kite goes back to the time of Pharaffon. The ruler and fictitious god of Egypt. Who first flew the kite in the sky to show his might and superiority to god. Ignorant people. Later on it travelled to India. The Indians who were most fanatic by nature adopted flying kite as their hobby.
Flying kite is also significant from the hygienic points of view. As it improves the eye sight and general exercise of arms and the rest of the body.

How is the kite put together?
--------------------------------

1. A kite is made of paper of different colours or of one colour.
2. The paper is supported by two thin sticks. One is of bow shape which goes horizontally and the other is straight vertically.

How to fly the kite
--------------------

1. On the upper site of kite. Make two holes each side where the two sticks unite.
2. On the lower. Make two holes on both sides next to vertical stick and keep distance of five inches from the tail.
3. One end of thread should be tied in the upper two holes so that horizantal and vertical sticks should be untied while the other end should be tied with the lower holes.
4. after it is tied give a knot to the thread. While knotting keep distance of two fingers on the top and zero at the lower side.
5. After that the kite should be tied with other thread as required.
6. Before flying it. Ask one person to take the kite to a long distance and leave it in. The person who flying the kite should pull the thread. After that the person should give a jerk to his hand and simultaneously loosen the thread. Do jerking and loosen of thread continuously. The kite will do high in the sky and one will enjoy the flying of a kite.
Single line stunt kite flying
-----------------------------

Caution
-------
1. Do not fly near any kind of overhead line. TV ariels etc.
2. Do not fly within airport restricted areas and over the restricted height.
3. Do not fly in such a way as to cause a hazard to traffic.
4. Do not fly in a storm or gusty wind.
5. Do not fly near Trees.

How to launch off
-------------------

There are three way to fly (launch) your kite. (You do not have to run)
1. Hold the kite in the wind and slowly let it out when the wind is pulling your kite. This can be done when the wind is continuous and about 5 M.P.H.
2. Have a helper and send them about 30/40 yards. Holding the kite by the wing tips. At your command, Your helper should let the kite go, With the kites head up, and you should wind the string very fast on to the spool.
Note: You should learn to wind the string on the spool 7-10 M.P.H. i.e. The spool should spin at 7-10 M.P.H. then only you can manoeuvre the stunt kite as you like.
3. Lay your kite 30-40 yards down the wind, face down, the nose and string should be aligned to point. You (flier) start winding the string very fast 7-10 M.P.H. with a jerk. The kite should rise up.

Manoeuvring
--------------

This kite will start turning in a clockwise or anti-clock wise direction when you let the line out under the wind tension, wind being 3-5 M.P.H. If it is turning clockwise, give a jerk and after a few seconds let the string out, the kite should start turning anti-clock wise.

Diving, turning right and left
-------------------------------

When you let the kite go with the wind with little tension on the string the kite will start turning in 360 deg. When you want to dive, watch for the kite's head, when the head comes in a downward position, start pulling the kite i.e. wind the spool fast. The faster you pull the faster it will dive. To stop diving and hitting the ground, you again let the string go loose and again the kite will start turning, and when the head is upwards pull or wind the string fast, the kite sill start going up. The same way you can turn right and left, by winding the string fast on the spool when the kite's head is pointing right or left.
